1. Service Description

Talor ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered CV tailoring service that helps users optimise their CVs for specific job applications. Our service includes JSON-to-PDF CV generation, AI-driven content tailoring, career profile management, and automated job matching.

We offer both a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Features available in each tier may change over time.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your details up to date.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Talor. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Talor to create CVs containing fabricated qualifications, false employment history, or misleading credentials. Your CV content must be truthful and accurate.

You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose, to harass others, or to distribute malicious content. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. AI-Generated Content

Talor uses artificial intelligence to reframe, restructure, and optimise your CV content. The AI does not fabricate experience — it works with the information you provide.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it in job applications. We do not guarantee that tailored CVs will result in interviews or job offers.

5. Your Data and Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your CV data, career profile, and all content you upload to Talor. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the tailoring service. We will never sell your data or use it for purposes other than delivering our service to you.

6. Subscription and Payments

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can cancel at any time, and your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service, contact us within 14 days of payment.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep Talor available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

9. Limitation of Liability

Talor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements or that AI-generated content will be error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of Talor after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
